Arc Code Jam

Anyone here planning on competing in Google Code Jam (http://code.google.com/codejam/)? Since they allow the use of any language (which is publicly available under any license which allows both you and Google to use it), you could even compete in Arc!

I'll probably compete using a combination of CL and Arc, since I occasionally miss features or libraries in CL not yet implemented in Arc.

tempting, if I wasn't so busy and arc had better regex-style facillities (Which would probably come up, I'd bet)

So I did the first round using Arc now, worked quite well apart from me not being used to the language that well. Might switch to CL for the rounds where time is crucial, as that has better Emacs integration.

While we are at it, I can't find a link to implementation of Arc in CL.

There is http://github.com/nex3/arc/tree/master/ac.sbcl.lisp, but it might be a little old.

I just found http://github.com/pauek/arc-sbcl/tree/master from this old post http://arclanguage.org/item?id=5509, which seems to be where development moved after it stopped in the main arc tree... (although with that said it still doesn't seem to be under active development).

Looking at the rules, it appears residents of Quebec are ineligible for the contest. Anyone know why? </tangent>
